Foltos az égbolt,
fehér a föld,
csupasz koronát nincs, aki lakja,
meztelen testén semmi se zöld.

Feketék a fények,
néma a Berek
az elmúlás sötét magját
öntözi mint a fagyott sebet.

Az élővilág hallgatag,
nem nyüzsög,
telelő madarak rajzanak,
tekintetük a prédán sürög.

A föld alatt,
börtönbe zárva,
téli álmot alszik hanyatt
lárvák, bogarak sokasága.

Szunnyad az élet
a jégpáncél alatt,
a hótakaró szövetén túl majd
az átszökő fényből új élet sarjad!
